Club Accreditation Update - Canadian Sport for Life Club Survey

Canadian Sport for Life has released a self-assessment survey intended to help assess the capacity of your club. The survey is also being used for PhD research into community sport clubs. The survey is anonymous and all responses are confidential. The aggregated results of surveys completed by all participating clubs will also be provided to Canadian Sport for Life and the OVA for planning purposes. No individual organizations will be named, unless you specifically indicate you wish to waive anonymity.

To complete the survey you will need detailed knowledge about your club's governance and decision-making practices, management policies, and sport technical programs. You will also need to know how many members you have, your annual budget, and how many paid full or part-time staff you have. If you have this information the survey should take from 45 to 60 minutes to complete.

Completing this survey is required for Volleyball Canada and Ontario Volleyball Association’s new Club Accreditation Program. It also helps an important research project and will help Volleyball Canada and the OVA plan for better support to clubs. We encourage every OVA club to take part! The link to the survey is
